hello dear friends!
how are you all? it is a long time since we met and I think everybody had a lot of works to do. i was looking at the photos that Cris sent us and i remembered the nice days we had in Italy and the great hospitality Cinzia showed us.
In my school, there was a change: our headmaster was appointed to a new place. so we have a new headmaster. i waited for a while for him to check out the system and learn everything. then i talked to him. he was also enthusiastic about our project and he promised me to do everything on his part. however, we will have a meeting with other teachers and talk about our plans during the project. i will ask them for help in getting the flag from TURCEV (Turkish National office for our environmental issues). of course, all the documentation and storing jobs belong to us as the partners of the project (I mean to representative of each country:) but our friends should also put their hands under the stone. after the meeting i will write you the details.
what about you? how is everything? what about Domingues, Stuart, and Rose? are they also entering this page? tell us about yourself. bye for now and take care of yourself...

I forgot to tell you that our agency rejected my application file for the preparatory visit on the grounds that our school is now involved in another Comenius project. But I hope it will be ok in February.

Sorry for my silence but, in fact, I've got lots of work to do (we are having a new model of teacher's evaluation and that is making me crazy,as well as all kind of measures regardingly the crisis we are being involved - the government is "robbing" public workers monthly, we are paying for the mistakes of a bad management). We are all in rage.
About the project itself, I also would like to start to work now. Dear coordenator, what must I do now? Please say something. In Portugal, the deadline is 21st February.

What about our French partner. we didn't have a chance to meet with her/him.
my friends, we must enter our national agencies' offical websites personally and search if there is something special for our own countries. the deadline is the same with Portugal 21st of February. we will fill in a form similar to our preparatory visit but of course a bit longer. i will fill in the form however, i am sure that Vicky will help me :) In Italy we had a chance to see what a hardworking teacher Vicky was :)
besides, i will send the application form to your mail addresses and request your own country's information (postal codes, phone numbers, etc.) I need our French partner's e-mail address. I hope s/he enters the blog soon. in short, the first thing is to fulfill the form and then we will (at least I will) store it in the national agency's website online. then after printing and having the offical represantative's signature and stamp, i will send it to my agency after saving it to a CD.
that's it my friends. first step is filling in the form. so now i am sending your mail addresses the form. after you fill the related part i will combine them. you can also write something for the other parts, please do not hesitate :) best wishes for now. take care and say hello to frinds.

hi dear friends. i have already sent the application forms and Luc (the fastest person:) and Cinzia sent them back to me after filling the necessary parts. what about the other friends? please do not forget that the deadline is 21 of February. last three weeks! i think, we must begin to worry about the time. i combined all three forms (Turkey, France and Italy) and filled some parts. I have the copies which we scribbled in Italy and of course i will use them; however, would you mind if I request you :) to write your ideas in missing parts like D.1-D.2-D.3, etc. after filling in your own information about your schools mobility numbers, etc. Now i am going to send you the form again and you can check out the process (I copied all the info one by one about France and Italy and I will do the same when you send the forms) and please correct me if i made any mistakes. then i will put everything together and send the completed form to you. thanks for your efforts my friends. ReplyDeleteYasin:We need to fill another application form, the 2.8 version. The version you sent me is 2.7. When I called at my National Agency, I was told that we must fill the 2.8 version, which is the last version published by the European Community. I also need the following documents from you:
1. The application form 2010 for school partnerships, sent by email by the European coordinator, which will be printed in two copies; each will bear the original signature (in blue) of the person legally authorized to sign on behalf of the applicant institution, as well as the original stamp of the applicant institution.
2. The confirmation of the fact that the application form has been sent – one copy of the PDF document (printed). This document should be sent by the European coordinator.
I would also like to know what you decided in Italy (the schedule, the activities and the objectives of our project).

ReplyDeleteCarmen: did you examine the form i sent you? it is the same with the other version you sent me(2.8) my national agency's page uses the version of 2.7 but as you can see on the top right side of the page it is published for 2011 application. my agency's official page is "ulusalajans" you can check out it. on the other hand, if your agency insists on the form 2.8 you can copy the information after we complete it. please send your information.
about the schedule; we planned something, and according to our plan -the first visit will take place in Portugal in September or October 2011 (Cris can inform us). the programme is written in my agenda and it is at school now, i can inform you later on. about the activities; every country has some small roles in the project and I will write them in the form and send them to you of course.

ReplyDeleteCarmen, as far as I know every school's own headmaster will sign and stamp his/her own form. because when I asked my agency, they told me that my headmaster will sign the form if I am a partner. Cris has already made some projects. she may help us about the procedure.

I am planning to take 6 students mostly because my colleagues are very enthusiastic to meet you and see other countries' education systems. 5 mobilities will be used by us( the contact person of each country) if you use 24 mobilities, it means you will have 19 mobilities remaining. for example, Mr. Luc has sent the information 16 students- 8 teachers. and Cris ; 14 students and 10 teachers. if you are sure, it is okey for me but it might be difficult for the contact teacher who will go to the other countries. S/he will be alone with 4 or 5 students and it may cause some problems. what about Romania and England? and Cinzia; as I said in the mail the total number is the same for every country (24). is it right?

ReplyDeleteYasin, I'm not sure if I'm following you about the number of mobilities.If I take 14 students and 10 teachers, in a total of five countries to go, it means I will take 3 students and 2 teachers to each, and in one country I'll take 2 students and 2 teachers.It sums 24 mobilities...or am I wrong? And more,if at the time any student gives up, you can replace him for another teacher or assistant.
About the signatures: On my last projects, the coordinator sent the application form for all the countries. Each Headmaster signed, printed, and sent to the national agency by post. Attached to this an official document from the coordinator's school, signed by headmaster, saying something about the confirmation of the candidature and with which countries. Now I don't know if things changed. I tried to contact my agency and ask, but they were in meeting. I'll try tomorrow.
I'll try to help you in your missing parts. G1-H, that's it? I've to check it first. I'll write soon (well, I hope!!)

Here it is the (new) procedure: The coordinator country sends by post the application form to its agency and, THE SAME FILE is sent to each countries by email. Each country prints it and each headmaster signs. Then we have to send by post that form.
SO, we don't have too much time. I'd like to take a last look to the final application form and have a time to do suggestions, if needed. Whar are your intentions?

ReplyDeleteyou are right Cinzia and Cris. Firstly, I will send the form to all countries by e-mail, then your headmasters will sign and you will send them to your agencies. I hope it will be easy and won't take too much time. however, we must complete the form first and Vicky hasn't sent back anything yet. maybe she is trying to help me to fill in the form. I don't know but I hope so. even now I am trying to fill in the form. please give me some time because it is not so easy, as you know we had difficult times while filling in the form since all sections are similiar to each other. and it is really hard to write someting different. I am trying my best. I think, everything will be okey when Vicky sends the form. we have 11 days left and I hope to finish it in two or three days then it would be the greatest project our agencies have seen so far:) take care of yourselves...

my friends about G2 section I filled the countries and approximate satrting dates; however,I am not sure about *****description of mobilities and other activities***** and *****Partners involved***** I think we will write mobility numbers and activities which will take place in the first part but then what will we write in the Partners involved section?????
meanwhile, in the distribution of tasks section, I had to specify every countries role one by one ( I called my agency for that) on the other hand, everything will be done together and with great collaboration. whenever someone asks for help, I would be there with my all power I promise. and I am sure everybody feels the same. that's why please do not take into consideration the small details. lastly, if you (especially our black sheep Cris:) want to change some parts or add something new, please use this sign ***** there for me to notice the changes. otherwise it will be hard to notice. now I am sending the application forms one more time to your mail addresses. please send them back in two days if you want to change any parts. check your countries mobility details again (student-teacher numbers) and write participant numbers for your own country. please tell me anything wrong. now I am very happy:) best wishes...
Yasin, you did it, great!! What a coordinator, dear Lord!!Thanks for your effort. In fact I've noticed the file in my email, but haven't opened yet. I'm attending a training course during the week, after classes, and it will end next saturday (fortunately!!). But I promise to work on the project till next Sunday night. About the mobilities, I asked Rose and We'll take 14 teachers and 10 students. Meanwhile, try to relax this weekend, ok? take care :)

ReplyDeleteIt’s about the project logo. I understood that every partner had to do a proposal and all the six pictures will be put in a global logo. Is it exact? My students are working about this logo in these days with my art colleague. It isn't a big problem for the form, don't worry. I'd like to know.
think it's important that we all have a role in the project on the application form - but lots of the things we will all be doing (helping each other) anyway.

I have added some vague ideas about where you will visit when you come to the UK. Perhaps I should've added the work we will do on the project - flags etc. Anyway I have to check my part with Stuart tomorrow so I will add it in and email the form to yasin.

I've sent Yasin my account on the application.I've written E1, add someting in E3, E4, F3, F4 and F6. I changed Portugal with UK tasks because they were not right accordingly to what we decided in Italy. But of course, here in Portugal, we return to define task if needed. I also add an activity - the creation of a portfolio in chain among with all our students, where they make drawings allusive to the environment, in sheets shaped like tree leaves. The portfolio will go from country to country, ending with the participation of Turkey and its last compilation. If you agree with this activity then we'll talk more how to materialize it.

ReplyDeletethanks for your answers. now it is almost completed. lastly, we have just one line in G1 (Luc sent it but I couldn't open the file format, he will send again, sorry Luc) and G2 parts. Vicky wrote something in G2 for her part and I think we should do the same. I will send the form (maybe for the last time before the final format:) and you may look what Vicky wrote.
lastly, Cris wants to change her task with Vicky's since we decided it in Italy. It is not a problem for me and as i said before; WE will do everything together. everybody is so punctual and enthisuastic about the tasks. I am very happy to work with such a group. thanks for your efforts dear friends. then- G1 and G2 - they are coming:)

ReplyDeleteI think it's important to mention the workshops we'll have there in UK. Remember your problem with your agency about the italian program and the walkings around? Perhaps you should write something about assessing the project and planning activities, sharing ideas and materials, and, of course, something about what is your task...Last Sunday I sent our part to Yasin and how we fullfilled G2, but unfortunately Yasin didn't update the form and you couln´t see it.I hope I have helped.
Yasin, I only pretend to change the task because that's what we have decided in Italy, that Portugal will create the platform Moodle. And in fact we have already done it.:)

My friends I updated the form. I put together everything you sent me so far. Cris I changed something; however, I don't think E3 section (health education) is necessary. anyway, it is not so important. lastly, Carmen requested me to send the form with your information in G2 section. so now we are waiting for her to send me the form back. our last box G2 section with Romania's information. so when it comes, I will save it the form on the internet. then we will be able to print it. otherwise, it prevents printing. Monday is last they and I think we will send the forms to our agencies on Monday.

hi friends, sorry but Romania was the last country and I was at school all day. I completed the form at 5 p.m. and it was the end of day. now I completed all parts and it was submitted online. it is ready, I am sending it now. you may fill the last page with your headmasters and you can send them to your agencies on Monday(the last day for application). I will do the same. I hope it is not a problem for any of us. on monday I will save it to a CD, but you don't need it. you must sign and stamp it then send it to your agency. good luck to all of us...
